Nomizono Taki/濃溝の滝

Today, my son and I went to Nomizono Taki, located in Kimitsu city, Chiba prefecture. This man-made waterfall has become quite popular this year because of its resemblance to the world of Ghibli movies.
今日は、息子と濃溝の滝(のうみぞのたき)に行ってきました。この人口の滝は、ジブリの映画の世界に似ているということで、今年とても人気になりました。

You can view beautiful views of the fall in YouTube videos such as this and this

I'm an no photographer, and I didn't go there at the right time of the year or the right time of the day.
私はうまく写真は撮れませんし、季節的にも時間的にもいい時に行けませんでした。

I have seen man made waterfalls but Japan has the best ones. I clearly remember the high and lovely falls inside the Osaka Aquarium.

Here's wishing you and your family a very Happy and Healthy New Year 2017!

Twilight Man: The interesting aspect of this particular fall is that it was made in the Edo period, has been around for centuries, and has attracted attention only this year due to a single photo posted to Instagram.

Yoi otoshi o (Good year to you), too!
